Agreed darbs, but who buys new? 04/05 Gallardos are going for ~$90k... granted its an older car but it's doable. UR kits are known to be reliable, I'd go with alpha just for the peace of mind if i had a gtr. I'm not sure about the reliability of other builds.

but a new lambo will run you 200... then you need the turbo kit.... There are quite a few companies making kits like this now. the Speed by Design 850 package is 11,000 for the gtr, which is almost an alpha 9 kit for 1/4 the money you spend at AMS. you can build a GTR like this for 20ish grand if you are on a budget and chose your parts well.

The Alpha 12 is a lot more that 1000 horse, more like 1250. Its about putting power to the ground at the end of the day and the GTR reigns supreme in that category. An 04/05 Gallardo will cost you an arm and a leg in repairs and you'll be doing many. I got my Switzer P800 kit used for 10,500 USD. Not bad for 705 at the wheel....
