Default Grill Surround - Black Pearl or Color Match?

Anyone seen an USB ISF with a color matched front grill surround?

I'm contemplating the black pearl grill surround or color matching it.

I have Black Pearl emblems if that matters.

Does anyone else know where you can purchase one other than l-tuned? I was surprised to find Sewell does not sell it.

Anyone ordered from l-tuned? What was the delivery time?

You could save a lot of money and get it wrapped with a black pearl/black chrome wrap. Either way both would look good. It all depends on what you are going for and most important what YOU want. It's your car mod it to your taste not others.

Black Pearl. I fear color matched USB would come off looking a little tacky.

I agree, it may look a bit tacky color matched, I woud suggest wrapping. I wrapped mine in 3M CF Di-Noc and looks awesome IMO. GL with whatever you chose, dont let others tell you otherwise. Happy modding bro!

I like the look of black pearl, but I've heard that it fades quickly, similar to the emblems after a few car washes. But color matched grilles IMO make the upper grille look much smaller. I've seen it on MB cars, which doesn't look bad because their grilles are way too large to begin with from an aesthetic perspective. The F looks just right with the size of its grille, so I'd suggest the black pearl or a black-like wrap.

I am looking at doing the same thing...I have the black pearl emblems and was thinking of getting the black chrome surround grille from ltune as it is the closest to match with the emblems...

I am in the same boat, but I am trying to decide if I should wrap mine black chrome, wrap in carbon fiber, or buy the grill surround by carson?

unless your car is black, i don't think matching the surround to the color of your car looks very good. makes the grill look weaker imo and makes the front end look wimpy. (since it has the effect of making the grill appear smaller).

definitely support blacking out the chrome though. think that almost always looks better

this one kind of works since he put a smaller F logo on there at least helps keeps things to scale. i've seen pics of ones with the oem L emblem on there and it just looks funny to me.

^You can try here: http://cmodgrilles.auctivacommerce.c....aspx?sid=2610

But I think the many of those you see on ISFs are custom-made just using an extra grill surround and some wire mesh.
