I tried it last weekend and took it off (or tried to) right after it dried. You really need to cake it on for it to dry clear. It's a different application technique than plasti dip. I thought a put too much on but it wasn't enough and came out all dull. I hated it and spent like 4 hours trying to take it off. It would not peel off. I tried using heat, buffing it off, peeling, clay bar, plastic razor, goo gone, and a rough wet sponge. I finally figured out what worked. I sprayed good off on it and let it sit for 2 minutes and then used a wet sponge to get it all off.
I don't think I applied enough wax before application.
So it needs to be done perfectly for it to work and look good. That was my experience. I decided to just get the bumper painted down the road if I need to

basically you need to properly clean the car before using it. I think I'll just stick with the painters tape to cover the bumper when travelling far.

Xpel, now has self healing clear bra.

Which will help with longevity and negate the need for brush or spray on products like this.

The Xpel Ultimate is what I just put on my car. Its incredible . Makes me feel well protected. Even stuff like scuffs or marks can be taken off with just rubbing alcohol

used this for a road trip last weekend. waxed and sprayed on thursday night, rolled out friday morning from chicago to louisville. Held up fine, coating was smooth (1st time applying it) It mentions that it can take 1-4 days to "cure" it rained sunday morning which may have compromised the curing.. the coating still held up on the way back.. it peeled off when i tried to scrub bugs off it at the car wash. it comes off easily like saran wrap. I will be trying it again with the full "cure" step to see if that changes anything. decent for the price.

I recently ran into a customer that had used this product. IT looked very textured and also milky looking. Evidently when it gets wet it clouds it up and becomes VERY noticeable. Also it was very hard to remove. I spent 4 hours trying to get it off with everything we normally use to remove clear bra adhesive and it would not come off. Only got a third of the bumper removed in that time... and not to mention there were a couple of chips where it had been. Its not a good product and does not work as advertised.

very interesting. I was just looking into getting a clear bra installed. May have to look more into this if its durable.
