What an awesome thread! You have completely transformed the car, congratulations. What other plans do you have besides the MY11 headlights?

ADV.1's, PPE/JoeZ or ISS, and HPS Intake, F-Sport Rear Sway, and Swift Springs.

But the P-Car is up first for it's conversion. She's getting jealous from all the attention I gave the F lately.

Day I don't even know - Misc.

I'm sure you're all sick of this thread by now so the final update to it. Washed the car and then applied another layer of AMMO skin for more depth, shine, and longer protection. With proper washes and garage storage the sealant should be protective for at least a year.

But it did leave lots of excess compound and sealant to be removed from seams, etc. I can't stress this enough - remove whatever you can with a microfiber and spray wax... my toothbrush is a super soft brush, applied with liberal spray wax and used VERY lightly to get places with no other access. You don't want to put surface scratches back into the seams you just polished.

Before

Brush Brush

Remove with microfiber and spray wax.

After

All the sealant removed from the lock button and door handle surround gaps.

My center console is cracked but the shift part of it was really scratched up with surface scratches.

So I took a microfiber and the FG400 and went at it with some wax on/wax off karate kid hand action. The deep stuff is still there but for a 2 minute job it made the rest of it look really really good.

Also did the same thing to the handle... this is the after but it removed a lot of the minor surface scratches and brought the luster back to the handle.

Donezo!

Mini update - new center console.

The cracked center console is officially gone. Got my new center console today and just installed it. I can stop my ocd twitching everytime I get in the car now.

It was amazing how much soda had been spilled all over this thing.. it was sticky and nasty. Actually vacuumed out the debris from under the console and gave the console a quick polish before installing it.

Did you take a before and after pic of your biceps? I'm sure they're jacked from all the washing and polishing!

Great work - I hope I'll never have to do such regenerative treatment to my ISF. If I do, I'll know where to come for the DIY!

I now know what a red mirror looks like.

they're suppose to...unless you're asian or indian and you beat the the hell out of them with a lower price...in which they say screw it, you want it for that cheap, just take it, we're not going to touch the car and prep it...

There's at least 2 other Omaha owners on CL I know of.... but I think maybe 5-6 total in town.

We certainly never see other F's out driving around.
