2013 C63 AMG vs ISF with full bolt ons.
So a good friend of mine bought a new C63 AMG P31 package in January. I've read up on the specs and it has 481hp and 443tq. But it weighs 3992lbs. We've been talking about having a little run to see how we compare. What do you guys think and outcome will be? I'm guessing we're neck to neck. We both have white cars and man do we look good driving around together!

I've ran against a p31 C63, albeit the 08 ISF is completely stock, and it was no contest. From a standstill, the C63 kept pulling away steadily. I would say by 100mph, he was 6-7 car lengths ahead and the distance was increasing.
ISF with headers and exhaust will probably stand a better chance, but towards the top end, the C63 will still pull ahead, assuming it can lay down the traction.

I honestly think we're around 470 crank HP and we have tight gearing which keeps us in our powerband so the torque advantage is a moot point (torque at the wheels is about the same IMO). The advantage is the 200 pounds - but you have all that audio stuff which offsets some of that advantage.
If you go into this all ready to run, you can beat him (ie no spare, no subs, low fuel, and shifting just right). You'll probably pull about 2 mph at the 120 mark IMO.
For comparison, I pull E60 SMG II M5s by 2 mph at the 1/4. They're 500 hp and about 4000 pounds. Of course, my car at drag racing weight is just a touch over 3500 pounds!

You can pick up an excellent condition 997 TT for around 80K these days and get an exhaust and tune! I just took mine to the strip just for a baseline. With snow tires and no track prep (couldn't take off) I got an 11.4x@127.x with a 2.0 60'. For sure, this is a mid-high 10 second car with traction. I'm sure that with the launch control and traction, I can hit 1.5x 60' times. But I don't plan on getting drag radials.
Be proud of the the F. To this day, my over 5 year old F is rock solid and squeak free (got rid of the dash squeak with some felt). My TT is only 8K miles and the spoiler rattles on bumps and there are all sorts of random squeaks. LOL Today, I managed to activate some transmission failure mode by doing a tight 180 in sport mode in the TT. Had to turn off the car and turn it back on. Hopefully, just a one time deal. You just can't beat Lexus reliability. Seriously! One of the reasons why the F will ultimately be my track car instead of the TT.

Well my friend has a C63 and I ran him twice on the same day... He's completely stock and I have an with exhaust and intake. His first launch wasn't as great but to be honest we were running neck to neck on both runs... We went upto 125-130 from stand still

I agree 100%. I have been in the same situation with I/E only. It's a drivers race. If the amg has the right driver you could be toast. They are fast. My friend couldn't believe the F was neck and neck.

Below is from the Car&Driver test of a 2011 C63 with the P31 package. Basically I think it is a driver's race between an ISF with I/H/E vs stock C63 with P31. I think if both driver's launch perfectly a small edge goes to the ISF.
