Oh and I have the slim decoder inside the housing. Just tuck the wires in on the outer edge of the housing where the cover protrudes out.. itll fit easily. Theres a lot more room than you think!
Just becareful if you tuck it in too tight then the AFS will have issues and will not align correctly. I had to fix that once on my left decoder.

Just wanted to rebump this thread, so after driving around with these for a week I have to say I'm going to keep them haha. I had an M3 chase me down to ask what I did to my lights because it looked "Fing awesome" and on a drive up to JE Imports yesterday with another F and my friend with an M3 they said it looks awesome and really aggressive.

Great thread, After reading all above, I decided to purchase the decoder to eliminate the "pulsing" of by DLRs.
Something that bothered me ever since the instalation. I went to iJDMtoy.com and got the R4 decoder.
Direct plug and play for ISF. I was able to keep the decoder outside the housing as I modified the covers. The Pulse is dramatically reduced. Cost $20. Very happy.

I am not sure if we are talking about the same thing. I had the VLED version and they were just barely small enough to fit into the housing opening with the wires. The dust cap installed over top like it was originally. This decoder is physically too large to fit into the opening. I dont want to modify the dust cap and get humidity into the headlight.

Try it without if you want, I thought my flickering was bad but honestly you have to get real close and down level with the bulbs to notice it. I asked some friends if they could notice it when looking in their mirror in front of me and they said they couldn't tell at all.
