Though I would like to, its going to cost far to much to use the 8 speed. Building a completely billet transmission will come when I have a UGR lambo lol

What tranny do you plan on using? The rears seem to be pretty solid in these cars so no worries there right?

Looking at the T56 platform right now. We are not sure of the exact direction were going with the transmission just yet, but im confident that the 8 speed isn't going to be ideal. My focus at this point is to get the motor done and tuned on an engine dyno. After that well work on the rest of the powertrain.

Are you turning wrenches on this project yourself, are you having a separate shop do it all, or a combination of both? I am assuming that's you in the pictures, and it certainly looks like you're getting down and dirty yourself. That's even more impressive!

Not me in the pics, I was just the camera guy. I dont plan on doing much of anything myself as im not really an expert in much. The car is gong to be worked on primarily by one shop, but im going to be utilizing different people/companies for their particular areas of expertise when the times arise. Im sure that one shop can do most of the work in house, but I really want to have no regrets if the project is as capable as I hope.

Should be another update today after a meeting I have in the late afternoon.

Here is that Update Heading out with the motor

After it is all said and done you should take it to your Lexus dealership complaining that your car is "not running right". Tell them you want to take one of their techs for a drive to show them whats going on. Then proceeded to make the man wet his pants when you step on it.

We really are just in the beginning. Motor builder pretty much assures that the engines ability to handle to power isn't going to be a problem.

We also came across some things with the sikky header design that im thinking about making public and correcting with a few sets of my own. Only time will tell though.

Is that why your sikky headers are for sale?? If you do not mind sharing what you found that would be great. Im sure we all would like to know.

No, they were for sale because I have no further use for them. The issue that I found is actually not a big deal and quite common with headers. I just know that a far superior product can be created that the community would benefit from.
