Actually fogs are 6000k and lowbeams are 8000k, but the fogs tend to look more blue. Most likely difference between projector and reflector.

PhiDeltBee: Thanks so much for taking the time to post up some pictures of the Volt HID kit =) Glad to hear and see that you are happy with your purchase! Don't forget that you now have reward points with us which you can apply towards the purchase of D4S bulbs when you are ready =)

Enjoy!

I install today the 6000K HID kit from JDM for the fog lights. Very happy with results, very bright, easy installation.

I had the Morimoto XB LED projector fog lights on my previous car, just last night I ordered a set for the F. I'm not a fan of HIDs in the fogs just cuz it can blind other drivers pretty badly.

Definitely the best option for OEM swaps; that's what we always recommend to our customers.

I went with HID's, since reading from precious post the comments were that they are just for the looks but not that functional or practical, you would loose sight. Anyway I'll see at night on the road if they can be dangerous for other drivers and if so, try other option. Thanks for the heads up.

They just arrived a couple days ago so when I get a chance to install I'll post up pics. Personally I think the output is great.
