Default IS-F Seats

I'm seriously considering buying an IS-F and have questions. As I mentioned in another thread I'm thinking about the usual suspects, too (M3 and C63).

Are the front seat bolsters in the IS-F adjustable as they are in the M3 and C63? In those cars you can increase and decrease the width of the bolsters.

Yes they are power seat, and adjustable also with 3 memory setting. Also to better answer your question, you can always go to sit inside a IS X50. They have the same configuation as the F Good luck!

I've driven both M3 and C63 and bolsters were not adjustable, unless that was an option and those cars didn't have it. Anyway, we don't have that on the ISF, not even as an option.

The front seat bolster moves up and down(under thigh area). The side cannot be adjusted(the outside of your thigh).

^^^ That's the lumbar support which we can adjust.

I'm not sure the ISx50 is a good comparison. The seats are much different and defiantly don't hug your body nearly as much as the F seats.
Of corse, sitting in an F to try F seats would be best.

You can't control the bolsters. ISF seats hug you and are extremely comfortable. When taking sharp turns you barely move. Both driver & passenger seats are 10-way adjustable.

The MY 2008-2010 M3 & C63 had adjustable side bolsters (upper and thigh). I believe the M had the controls on the lower left of the seat and the C had the control on the upper side of the seat. Not sure if 2011 and on are still adjustable. It's good if different people of different sizes drive your car or if you have more clothes on and you have to loosen it up a bit.

^^^ I searched and found out that it's actually an option, so what I drove didn't have it.
