Was thinking about doing a carbon fiber overlay on the stock sideskirt. Just wanted to hear some peoples opinion on whether or not I should or should not do it. Didnt know how to post up a poll. LOL

If u can do a clean job cool if it's your first time messing with overlaying cf I say stick to something smaller first

Just my opinion (no offense), but not a fan of imitation CF. Especially now, since it has been out for awhile.

I'm not talking about the 3m Dinoc stuff. I'm not a fan of that stuff either. I'm talking about REAL cf that is overlayed on. Here is an image of my GC that I did a few months ago.

Just wanted to see if people here would think it would be too much CF or if it will look silly.

well u do obviously do a good job and i think it would look clean make them look like the C-West side skirts and if you can do it for under $1200 then you will have saved yourself some $

Now, that's "real" carbon fiber. Nothing wrong with that. You can never have enough carbon fiber, it's a disease that gets worse over time.

they said that they will be releasing side skirts for the F in the next 4-8 weeks when I spoke to them directly and that was about 2-3 weeks ago.... So I am stuck waiting now lol car feels nude on the sides with no CF.

Your roof picture does look dope nice skills!

Thanks man. Ya I been meaning to maybe do the sideskirt especially because my car is black. Ever since I saw the ZR1 at the autoshow and saw its cf side I kinda started liking it. Just wanted too see if members would think its too much cf

i think it would look silly just because the side skirts run up halfway of the fender
