Rear fenders have a slight roll done by a local body shop (no paint cracks or sloppy work) and I have zero rubbing issues, even over the harshest dips on the highway. I'm running stock tire sizes for now, but planning on adding a little more rubber (245s and 265s most likely) when it is time to replace them.

Hey vbb, why did you roll the fenders? Is your car lowered? I'm running 285/25/20 on 20x10.5 on the rears and no rubbing at all.

Yeah, but I bet you're not on +29 offsets in the rear either. I was hoping I wouldn't have to rub, but as soon as I put the wheels on and then tried to get up my driveway, I got a slight rub on the rear passenger side on that sharp part inside the fender well. No matter how I angled the car, I'd get some rub. I also got rubbing when I'd hit dips on certain parts of a particularly crappy section of interstate that I travel pretty often. When I noticed I was cutting fine lines into my right rear tire's sidewall, I figured I'd better roll the fenders or get different tires. After rolling, I've got zero rubbing issues at all, and now feel that I can put a bit wider tire out back if I wanted to as well.

Finally had a chance to put my wheels on.

Volk Racing TE37SL Black Edition.
18x10 +40 all around.
Hankook R-S3 tires, 265/35/18 front, 285/35/18 rear.
Rear fenders rolled flat, no mods to the front fender. So far no rubbing.
Lowered on Swift springs.

Love this thread... some amazing wheels and ISF......

.I need some insight from people who have done this:

I would like to put 285/30/19s on the rears on stock wheels and BC coilovers, what i want to know is if i keep the current stock height with the coilovers installed- to prevent any rubbing , will this set up work?

or is BC preset to 1" lower , meaning i cant increase the height after install to the current height?

I don't wanna shave/cut/chop/bend/dent/or do anything to fenders

Looks good and 18s are much better for the track than 19s honestly. You get a taller sidewall and a lighter wheel at the same time.
