Similar story here with a 911 turbo driver who loves the F.

Lexus has come a long way to creating a new, exciting side of the brand--the F experience.

Ok sounds good

I think I'll PM Tommy and ask him to start the thread though, as he's a lot better than I am with Google Maps and map routing.

What's nice is, the starting point in Temecula/Hemet may be warm but the route is taking us into San Diego county where it should be mucho cooler.

^^^ Sweet! I'll be able to do a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. If its a Sunday run and the route starts in Temecula and ends in Diego that will work fine for me, because I will be taking off for work again right after, lol.

Tommy, I am sure you will read this, start it up bro! I will have my exhaust on for this run, hopefully!

Its definitely nice to be unique. I was surprised the first track day we did when we had a small crowd around our car at the end of the day. This is while we were surrounded by Porsche cup cars and a few other exotics. The F is a great car and can hold its own on the pavement. For those that love cars its hard to ignore.

Let me put the basic route together tonight and I'll PM it to you Tommy. To start out on the Sage Rd run, our best place to meet would be at the corner of State St. and Stetson Ave. in Hemet at the Carls Jr parking lot. There's a Chevron right there for everyone to top off their tanks also.

Go ahead and start the thread for it if you would Tommy. Something like "Temecula to Lake Cuyamaca run" or something.

For the BBQ at Lake Cuyamaca I'll buy steaks and shrimp for everyone, so whatever else people can bring would be great. We def. need someone to bring a bunch of icy cold bottled waters in a cooler.

Very cool, and I'm sure the car gained respect when they saw how well it can be hustled through the corners.

Sounds great...hopefully we can get Joe/Gene/Jason/Tin/David/Murph and the other SoCal F owners to come out and play.

@ Gil - What kind of performance numbers was your G putting down? It looks good in the pic.
