Default ISF Exhaust Comparison: ISS vs. Joe-Z vs. HKS

Hi guys, new to the forum and finally ready to start modifying the F.

I've done some exhaust research and came out with 3 prominent contenders:

ISS Forged
Joe-Z PTS
HKS SSM

I want to know which exhaust outweighs the other regarding sound, performance, reliability.

I'm looking for down to the pedal performance.

Emissions/Inspection is not a problem for me , regarding cat-less exhausts.

I've been looking at the Joe-Z, but have heard that it's "quiet".

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I really love my JOE Z exhaust. I get compliments on how nice my car sounds all the time. I can tell you that it for sure increases hp. Its a real quality system the shop that installed it guessed i payed around 3k for the system, welds were perfect, perfect fitment. If you get the system and it is not loud enough for you, which i doubt it won't be, you can always put some headers on to increase noise and add even more hp

I had the same three choices and I went with the Joe-z. I never heard the HKS or ISS in person but @blitz714 let me test drive his F with the Joe-Z and I seriously wanted to cry. The car is x100 louder then stock in a good way, not like those civics. At first the exhaust is pretty loud then when it breaks in, it becomes perfect. The only drone is around 2k and thats when you're going uphill or something, no freeway drone. It's also the cheapest of the 3 exhausts, Joe-z intake/exhaust. THUMBS UP!

Issforged!!! I have the des street model and I love it! Very minimal drone, great sound, and I love the quad tips. The joez is also a great exhaust so you're a winner either way!

What made you rule out Borla? I'm not recommending it, I'm just curious.

I'm happy with my ISS DES. It'll sound more menacing after I put the sikky headers on.

I ruled out Borla because I want something that will give the most gains.
Borla is catted..cats restrict air flow, that's all :P
The HKS SSM is expensive, and I've always leaned towards the Joe-Z...
Are there any advantages of the ISS Forged (whichever version gives more uuumph) on the Joe-Z??

Thanks again for letting me test drive it yesterday. I can say that now that i heard it in person I couldnt be happier with choosing the Joe Z exhaust. I was so pleased with it that I woke up first thing this morning and called the Carson parts department. I was ready to drive over and buy it, but sadly it was out of stock. but they said there should be some in the morning so I'm going straight there tomorrow and buying it. I love how its a great loud tone without being raspy. It has that nice tuned sound.

THe Greddy...wayyy out of my price range..steeping up at $4000....lol
and the gains aren't better than the Joe-Z.

I'm probably left to choose between the Joe-Z and ISS
The HKS sounds nice, but I'm not knowledgeable about its gains, nor is my wallet fat enough

im running the iss track version and i had two resonators added to help bring down the drone. the resonators really helped.its still loud but not as loud as it used to be. i would say im in the middle between the des and the track.
