Michelin Pilot Super Sport Tires
Installed these tires. OMG they are awesome. Out of 5 stars I rate them a full 5. Compared to OEM ride is better, braking is shorter and handling is absolutely improved. BTW Michelin is offering a $70 rebate on four tires for the next month or so. Regards, Shot

Personally, I don't like them. I've had mine now for 3 months and have a couple thousand miles on them now. I still get entirely too much fish tailing when I punch it. Hell, it even happens if I punch it at 25-30mph. That's in sport mode though. I'm not sure if that makes much difference compared to normal mode.
My next set will either be the Conti DW Extremes or back to the OEM Potenzas.

shot, did you stay with the stock sizes or upsize your PSS tires? I've been set on getting the PSS as well rather soon, so it's good to hear that these are as great and more compared to the PS2s.

Just in add, I had the Michelin PSS installed and ride quality wise, same as the PS2's. I have yet to test the grip, as they are yet to be broken in yet. 2008 ISF, 100% stock.
I had Hankook V12's previously and there is no comparison. The V12's "squirmed" brand new, and when 50-75% worn, 1st and 2nd gear full throttle would cause the traction control to kick in constantly. Tried it a few times with TC disabled, and the rear end would want to come around. The OEM tires were the Potenza's, and even at 10% treadwear life remaining, they performed better than the V12's.
Performed 1 full throttle from a standstill with the PSS, 15miles on them so far, and there was absolutely no loss of grip like the V12's, no traction control activated either. Also, no tire squirm either.
I had to make sure the PSS were "Extra Load" rated. I believe there are non XL rated PSS tires in 255/35/19 225/40/19 sizes.
Overall, I will be sticking to the PSS tires, since they offer the best balance and performance and treadlife, and are cheaper than the PS2's.

Hey shot,
I too went with the PSS tires but upped the width. Fronts are now 245/35/19 and the back are 275/30/19 on stock wheels. They fit perfectly and definitely helped in the handling department as well as offering a better ride (at 36 psi all around) than the stock Potenzas. You can still pull the rear out if you go through a curve and gas it but not nearly as much as with the stock tires and size. For the most part they hold a line really well. I'm also pleased that the gas mileage did not suffer much either; About 0.2 miles per gallon according to the onboard computer's average miles per tank of gas.
By the way, my F is a 2009 Starfire Pearl White with a black (vinyl) top and tinted windows. Only drive train mods are these tires, Joe Z intake and an AFE pro dry S drop-in air filter.

I stayed w the stock tire sizes as recommended by my tire guy. my car has been lowered w the coil-overs and did not want any rubbing.

I have them and I love them. They are very predictable and dependable. My 305's in back grab the road like no other tire I've used. I will never go with another tire on this car.
