Default Install and dyno @ JE: Zex 100 shot

Hey everyone, got back from JE after the little F meet / install and wanted to showoff the blast in a bottle. It's a Zex v8 E.F.I wet kit with bottle heater and auto opener. The control box is in the glove compartment and activated at full throttle when armed through the TPS electronically. Custom solenoid box mounting bracket, fuel supply line, interior control box and install all done by JE. Great customer service, quality work again and again. Special thanks go to John, James & Anthony. Final numbers 486hp & 446tq w/100shot, huge mid range gains.

I'm very impressed with the quality of installation from all the N20 installs.

We no longer drive Rice Burners

What it cost?

Very impressed. Can you tell me what it cost? Kit and then install. Love it and almost 500 hp at the wheel on tap very impressive.

All said and done it was about 2300. 1300 in parts and 1000 in labor and dyno tuning the A/F by changing jets a bit. I also opted for colder range plugs which were another 275 bucks installed that im not including in the kit/install price. My plugs were shot anyway from bouncing off rev limiter.

Hey Darby,

Any update on the solenoid issue? Is everything working fine now? Also, I'm curious, which solenoid failed. Was it the NOS or the fuel solenoid?

Did you personally choose the plug? I was under the impression that we dont have the option. I have tried colder plugs, but never with success.

Il call James and ask him... He spend an hour on the phone with NGK finding plugs 1 stage colder that met all the same specs.

Its so tempting to do this, but the thought of drilling holes in the trunk for the bottle brackets and spending another 1k+ for temp power. What happened to NOS kits for 500 bucks

Have you been to the drag strip with just the boltons?
