as for my next car, assuming i get somewhat in the ballpark i spent, i don't know if i can step into another F. its like losing someone you love, and falling for someone almost exactly the same. i think it may be time to hang up the sports car and get something more practical for the future like an RX or CT-H (in case my gf and i decide to start a family). she did promise me this will not be my last sports car.
Second, you're getting another F. WE ALL INSIST.
Replacing a car is much easier than replacing a loved one, but I understand your analogy. This is more like getting back the loved one you lost. Just find another silver '08 ISF, place your mods back on it with the settlement money, and just like that, everything is whole again!
Easier said than done, but it can certainly be accomplished.
Trust me. Stepping into, starting up, and driving another vehicle after having an F is just not the same. You'll miss the sound, you'll miss the power and feel, and ultimately regret not getting another F. Go get it!

Wow! Glad you're doing ok.
Brings back bad memories as I too was previously rear-ended by a drunk driver. The more days that go by, the more you will realize how truly lucky you are that it wasn't worse. Cars are just items that can be replaced....your health is something that is truly priceless.
