Default Wheel spacers and lowering springs

I just purchased a Ultrasonic blue ISF with white/black int. Can anyone help me with wheel spacers and lowering springs.

There's a few good spacers out there. I use Ichiba V2 spacers that you can get, I'm sure F owners also use this. They're easy to install, you don't need to swap studs. People have also used H&R spacers, but these as well as others you need to swap the studs so it's harder to do yourself or you can get someone else to do it for you. I went with springs and spacers because I liked the OEM look.

The spacers as mentioned above along with either Eibach or Tein springs are your choices. If you do a search there are a few cars on here with both of these springs.

What size spacers are people running successfully? Stock size tires or wider? I'm going with spacers and the teins when it is time to put new tires on and am curious in the same thing.

The USB in the pic on the attached link is lowered on Teins with 15mm spacers all around per the owner (screen name carlosg).

For 15mm: Which way is better... Ichiba version 1 with longer replacement bolts or Ichiba version 2?

Technically version 1 is the better way to go, version 2 is the easier route. Easier and better are not the same in this case.

I mean which way is better for the car, strength and durability-wise. Which would hold up better to road abuse over a long period of time?

are there negative effects if you put on spacers in the front and it brings the tires out wider than the rears?

The right/better way would be to take out the old studs and replace them with longer ones (Version 1).

Nice man, welcome to CL! Where in Florida are you?

I just ordered a set of springs for a friends F, let me know if you would want to jump in on the deal!

Not really any negative effects besides steering might feel weird and car may look weird, reminds me of the Can-Am Spyder roadster if front is wider than rear

I would be worried about unnecessarily large spacers in the front though because the front suspension takes more impact than the rear when you hit a dip or bump in the road. I have 15mm in front and 20mm in rear and it's been fine so far. Had it on a few months. I have the V2, I installed it myself and it was easy. V1 I would have to have someone install it, and uninstall it if I ever get wheels.
