High pitched whine under throttle
I've noticed in the last week or so a high pitched whining while under throttle. I can hear it when usually in 7 or 8th gear and between 1-2k rpm.
I've gone ahead and removed my JoeZ intake tube and hose clamps and reseated everything and there's a good seal.
Thoughts? It's annoying, the car is due for it's 25k service soon and just wondering what it could be. The Throttle body looked clean when I removed the intake tubing.

Does it sound like a supercharger whine? I get that sound when i give more than partial throttle on a cold start...

I agree it's not the tube, I just removed the intake bits to reseat them thinking there was a intake leak. The tube has been installed for probably 20k+ miles now.
My car sure sounds supercharged when at higher RPMs. lol The intake flap opens at is should at about 3600RPM. But could have a leak at the foam.

Are you listening to music too loud or did you install an upgraded audio system? I used to have alternator whine in my old car that I had subs in... happened sometimes when I would accelerate...
