My car made 386whp in 5th and 388whp in 6th. I think the extra hp in 6th was due to a good amount of time between the pulls

kind of curious too. I am down for some added sound and power but would rather drop my money on tires for the track rather than an exhaust .

Also linky no worky

I'm interested. I'm in fort worth. where's your exhaust guy at?

so is it just removing the secondary cats and installing straight pipes? and removing mufflers and installing straight pipes? what about the check engine light?

^^^^As long as the primary cats (the one's in the stock exhaust manifolds, are left in place with the corresponding before and after sensors) removing or changing anything behind them will have no effect on the electronic nannies and you will have no CEL.

Yeah the vids have been remove. Can someone post pics and some specifics to what is needed to modify the exhaust? Maybe some links to the parts and video of the modified sounds.

Thanks

There really isn't any parts. Just got to the muffler shop and tell them to remove everything from the 2nd cats and back. They will be able to weld in another couple pipes in its place. Unfortunately, I can't remove the secondary cats since in GA no muffler shop can tamper w/ emissions parts. Ugh!

Don't remove everything. All you need to do is have the secondary cats removed and replaced with straight pipe and also the mufflers. Do not remove the factory resonator...I could tell a huge gain in performance when I did mine. The car pulls so hard now....haven't raced anyone but a SS camaro from a 60mph roll and it turned out bad for him....I pulled 3cars easy!

Are you guys worried about going back to stock?

Are you cutting the secondary cats and the mufflers in a way so you can get them rewelded if need it?
