Default First long distance trip in my F...

and got great gas mileage on the way up. I averaged roughly 23mpg mixed city/hwy driving from LA to SF. I achieved about the same on an 08 IS F Smoky Granite that I borrowed during Thanksgiving weekend. The ride was very smooth and compliant with the trunk full of luggage and 2 passengers. The F is a very docile car in Drive mode. It's very comfortable at cruising speeds surprisingly.

Here are some pics I took during my back up this past weekend for Christmas. I didn't get to take a lot of pics, but here's some that I got to take on Sunday before the drive home. This is the reason why my IS F now has about 2700 miles.

Hey is your IS-F 2008 or 2009. I was also wondering 2008 IS-F W/ML package does it come with front and rear sensors on the bumpers?

It comes with the sensors if you have Park Assist / Radar Cruise. As far as I know it has nothing to do with ML

His is a 2009 by looking at the redesigned center console area. Also the 2009 has that chrome trim around the Nav area.

+1.....his has the shutoff for the center stack air outlets....I believe that's '09 + the chrome surround.....

I know all the spots you were at. My brother lives in Mill Valley and you were in the Marin Headlands. Great place for some pics of the bridge and the city.

Nice interior shots of the GG bridge and the Marina transition, classic drive before you cross the bridge.

Love the car and hopefully I'll be doing the same very soon.

Mine is a 2009. Here in California, you will only find Mark Levinson and Navigation cars. If you want Intuitive Park Assist, Radar Cruise or Headlamp Washers, those are options you will need to special order. My car was a special order car. I ordered this with Mark Levinson/Navigation and Park Assist as options.

The packages are regional. The cars that come here to the Western Region are ML/NAV only. My car was supposed to end up in the Southern Region as they order their IS F's with ML/NAV and PA. Eastern areas typically order it ML/NAV/PA/HL. The options are picked out by the region by need. I have no idea why Western Region packages the cars with ML/NAV only.

Great pics!! I had no idea the NAV screen could split like that in the first pic.
