Ran into a IS-F
I ran into a blue IS-F the other day in Naperville, IL that had MFG tags on it. It's a really sharp looking car in person. This was the first one I've seen in person, besides the one at the autoshow.
I was in my 05 Mustang GT and got to play with the IS-F for a pull or two. The driver must have heard my exhaust because he was kind of riding closely on the on-ramp. Pretty quick car, but it couldn't keep up with me on the highway

I think his IS-F is still in the break-in period, therefore he just let you off the hook this time You wont be that lucky if you see him again in a couple of months.

haha yeaa definitly true.
theres no way an 05 mustang gt could keep up with my IS-F, unless it was extremely heavily modded.

Mustang vs ISF
A Mustang with 430 rwhp would kill an ISF. I am sure that it would not even be close. There are hundreds of Mustangs in So Cal alone that run in the mid to high 11s or even quicker in street trim! There are even high 9 or low ten second cars running around on the streets. Many with 600+ rwhp!
Even my work truck (99 Lightning) puts out close to 500 rwhp.
An ISF is a very nice car, but I would not call it an extremely fast car.
I have an IS350 and am thinking about an ISF, but will wait and look at the Caddy CTS-V before I buy anything.

Is there such a thing as a stock Mustang? All of the guys with the fast ones will swear that it is stock! I agree that it is an unfair comparison, but I am just trying to make a point that things are not always as they appear.
