Default IS350C Exhausts?

Hey guys, I just bought a 2015 Lexus IS350C and I'm looking for an awesome exhaust system. Something deeper and robust but street legal in CA. Anything will help... My friend was telling me to leave the stock exhausts on and do something with the exhaust bolts. I'm not a car guy so I have no idea what he was talking about... Again any advice would help substantially!

Hey iscdude, welcome to the forum! Check ARK Performance GRiP Exhaust System, it is one of the best options for Lexus: http://www.carid.com/2015-lexus-is-e...-60737677.html

Unfortunately ARK doesn't make an exhaust that would fit his car. The one you linked to is for a 3rd generation IS sedan, he has a 2nd generation IS convertible.

AFAIK, short of going to a custom exhaust shop, the only exhaust that would directly bolt-on to the 'C without modification is the OEM F-Sport exhaust, which produces a pretty deep and sonorous note and an insignificant bump in HP.

On Magnaflow's website it says the Magnaflow 16764 will fit the 2013 IS 350c, it doesn't mention the 2015... Do you guys think it'll still fit?

I have the F-Sport on my 12 350 C and love the sound and look, it is not cheep but worth the extra money and is CA legal.

How much loader is it compared to the regular exhausts? Do you hear it when you're driving? I don't know if you've heard of an aston martin exhaust but I kinda wanna make it sound similar to that...

I didn't see it listed on the website to verify (http://www.magnaflow.com/products?pa...atiblevehicles), but there were basically no changes in the IS-C from 2013 to 2015 so whatever exhaust will fit the '13 will fit the '15.

By any chance do you have pics of your exhausts?

Here you go. You do hear it a little when the top is down, and you hear it a lot when you step on it. No drone in the cab and it sounds awesome when you step on it.
Here is a picture of the exhaust and a couple of front end mods I did.

Honestly, is it worth $1200. Or should I go for the magnaflows?

Is the Magnaflow a polished stainless steel system? Will it fit properly? I felt that the price was high however it fits like a dream and looks amazing. Install was very easy by myself with no issues at all. To me it was worth it. and resale if needed will be very good and the demand for used Fsport exhausts is high.
Sometimes you have to pay to play.

I just bought it

What did you do with your stock exhaust? Did you sell it? If yes, where and how much?

Thanks for all the help BTW.
