Is250c 2010 had it for 8 months now. Love it. After last outing with wife in passenger seat and dog in back I can no longer get the seat to lock in place. All motor movements, up down, forward backward work. The motor for tilt tries but something is not catching. I notice the manual hand control on the outside is not seated all the way down. When I lift it the seat back can move forward and backward but will not lock in place. So the seat is not usable right now. I can try to look underneath to see if anything I can manage but I welcome suggestions.

Did you try the manual hand control on the inside of the seat near the consol? It sounds like somethig is in the latch. Try both manual hand controls at the same time and see how they feel together.

Thanks for the response. In light of day I was able to focus on how the seat back worked on the driver's side and what was not working on the passenger side. I could feel where the seat was supposed to lock but it was passing that point. By using the seat back button I moved that "locking" point to different degrees. At the furthest point forward the hand control fell into place and the seat back was locked.
