Aftermarket rotors that don't cost $1,100
I have a 2010 IS 350C F Sport #75 out of 100 made that year. Found out today that I need a front break job and that the rotors would be $1,100 each that they could only be discounted (by Lexus) to about $820.
I LOVE my car, but facts are I can't afford the upkeep if that is how much the break jobs are going to be. Does anyone know of rotors I can put on after market that are much cheaper? After reading through the forum I saw some people recommend Raybestos. I called them and they said they couldn't even find the part to comp to. (You can google it easy enough so not sure what they are talking about.)
While I love driving, and am a convertible enthusiast, I have a 5 year old and am a tech consultant so I'm not racing this car around and could live with something not a specialized and fancy as the rotors with holes in them that cost so much.
The rotor part numbers are PTR09-53084 and PTR09-53090. They are TDR brand.
I'd appreciate any advice either on new, less expensive rotors or how and where best to sell my car.

Sewell Lexus Dallas. They told me last time I crought the car in that I was going to need a brake job and should be about $550.00. When I brought it in they said they hadn't realized how specialized my rotors were and that I have an extra large braking system and the rotors Were 1,100.00 each (matches up what I see on the internet.) They said there isn't another option for the car.

said he has an IS350C
assuming dealers not full of it and not lying about really needing to replace rotors. No idea where they are getting $1100 each

Yes Phresh2010, Blue fsport brakes, rotors with the holes in them. I bought the car with 37,635 miles on it in Aug 2013 and now it has 55K. I do think the brakes need to be done as can hear squeaking and Lexus and firestone said it does.

We had an ISF for the past 4 years, and haven't owned an IS350C but I can tell you that your costs quoted sound a bit high. I would suggest getting them done somewhere other then the dealership. You can even purchase your parts elsewhere if there is a savings vs purchasing from the repair shop. But, keep in mind some of the profit is in the parts so some shops will charge more in labor if you being your own parts. Depending on your preference, but you can also buy some of the lower end branded replacement parts if you are not opposed to non OEM products. Also, have someone else inspect you existing brakes, the dealership tends to push the brake job early.
