Default LOOking for your OPINION 250/350

Can I get some thoughts on these cars.

Both are CPO. Both have 32K miles.

Car #1
2010 ISC250. No Nav. Asking $27K

Car #2
2011 ISC350. Has Nav. Asking $35K.

Though one car is newer than the other, with mileage being same, really isn't much of a difference. The 2011 has the DRL on the front light that the 2010 doesnt. The 2011 also has the larger motor.

8K price difference seems like a lot for a NAV and bigger motor.

Any thoughts? I am looking to trade my POS 2013 CT200h for it.

IS350 >> IS250

2011 >> 2010

Navi >> Non navi

All three of those make a significant difference. If you wanted to upgrade the headlights and navi alone, costs a few thousand.

The IS350 has a really good and reliable engine, as well as some pretty beefy brakes.

It comes down to what you want. Do you want lots of power? I personally could not see myself ever driving an IS250. Otherwise I would have kept my TSX.

But if you don't need the power, and money is more important, then go with the cheaper.

Also remember that even though you are paying more now, you will also have a vehicle that will be worth more and more desirable when you sell.

All my other cars (excpet the POS CT), are V8s (LS/SC), and an Elise. So I am a power junky

I definitely want the 350 more. Nav doesn't matter as much. I just wish the 350 was a little cheaper... so I am trying to figure out is the 350 priced right or is the 250 priced too low?

Your opinion is appreciated.

It's settled then, don't even look at the 250. You want the 350 for sure.

Now just spend your time comparing pricing on the 300.

In my opinion, get the navi. Not because of the maps and GPS, because of the luxury appeal. Looks WAY better and helps with resale value.

All the info previously said is true....now ask how much more will the monthly payment be? Probably not that much more. Just a thought.

35k seems fairly reasonable for a CPO '11 350. I had the choice of an '11 250C or a '10 350C and chose the 250. It happens to be in nicer shape, less miles and better color combo. That said, I would like to have been able to get the 350 power. Plan is to trade the 250 for an RC350C in a few years. Keep your fingers crossed that Toyota builds such a thing.

You are right with NAV helping with resale.

Where there any updates in 2012/2013 that are worth getting, versus the 2011?

Also any thoughts on the luxury package? I would like to have the HID factory, but neither of the car I listed have that. Was LP rare?

Interestingly after reading all reviews and driving both, 350 is the one for me. However, the 250 here for sale, has better color combo, and no nav, and is a year older.

Would love a RC350C if they made it!

I am duping the CT200 cuz it is so darn slow. I thought I could live with it, I just can't. It is miserable. Of the 7 Lexus cars I owned, the worst ever.

Interestingly the ISC350 dealer said the car has been sitting there for months, and there is no demand but are willing to not lower price.

I was surprised to see how the area around where your shoulder would be in the rear seat (when top down) and the steering wheel center-how cheap looking it is.

Even the used Toyota Solara used there was more luxurious
