Default new 2014 IS350C joining my family - need some advice

Hello CL fam...my father has been drooling over my IS350 for so long now, that he decided to sell his vert Merc and get a 2014 350C...lol.

While we are waiting for it to be shipped to Atlanta, I wanted to get some quick information about what mods are going to be different on the C as compared to the sedans. I know the body kits will be different, but what about the exhausts and suspensions? Are they going to be the same as the sedans? Is there anything immediate we need to look into, like the Fsport sways on the sedan?

Any advice would be good advice...thanks in advance, and here are a quick pics of my sedan so you know I am legit

whats up quick! yeah this section is not like the sedans... congrats on the purchase, suspension is the same along with the control, toe, and traction arms try check with Jess (Blue Aimgain ISC) on spring rates for coils you may want to change the setup cause that *** so fat haha. Exhaust is different and so are the sways. The 2010/11 sways on sewell will fit the 13/14 and are a must have, there is alot of body roll on the verts in stock trim. front bumpers are interchangeable with the sedan versions but sides and rear are different. Engine bay is the same as the sedans.

When is delivery date?

What up bruh!!! Thanks for the advise on the mods, and I will be placing the sway order today. He took delivery last week, and I will post some pics up tomorrow as we already have new wheels and pops picked a dope *** color to paint the brakes (should match nicely with the saddle interior).

Someone did give me a heads up on the spring rates for the coils, as the rear needs to be stiffer than the fronts on the verts...crazy. I will get with Jess on FB about a good setup for him, he just wants to kill the fender gap...lol.

Anyone know if HKS makes an axle back for the C?

Not many options except the f sport for exhaust. Maybe aimgain has one. I've been debating myself to get the greddy evos for the sedan and chop them for the vert.

I have new wheels on and we are painting the calipers now...will post up pics when I am done in a few hours, caliper color my Dad picked is sick. The fender gap is nuts...lol...but I have coils being ordered today to fix that.

While it is up on the lift, I have noticed the changes on the vert from the sedan. The axle back is way shorter and will be a bit of a challenge for a decent exhaust shop to mimic. I am thinking of ordering the HKS axle back and having it "adjusted" by a local exhaust shop.

I did...only got a recommendation for BCs but no spring rates. BC told me they would have to build a set, and it would take 2-3 weeks, which is time I don't have. I found a set of Megan LPs in stock with a 10k front 12k rear, which are on their way. Got the sway bar set yesterday too...here is a quick pic so far

::::Warning:::: Massive wheel gap!!! Lol

You have the spring rates wrong you should be using a 12K front and 10K rear. The basic stock BC is 12K f and 8K rear They will up to 10K for the Vert.Here is a few pics of mine, the details are in my sig.

Thanks for chiming in Jeff, not alot of active members with mods on the boards. Btw, how is your fuca working for you? Mine makes a little noise when going over speed bumps and making turns.

Thanks, but I think that is wrong. The sedans recommend a 10k front and 8k rear as their entry setup. I have been told that the verts carry so much extra weight in the rear that they recommend a 10k front and 12k rear rate.

We shall see Thursday when the Megan LPs show up...
