Default Bluetooth phone connect, sort of?

I like the hands free phone feature in the IS-C, but I had a few experiences where, even thought the phone always connects to the system, sometimes I will call or get a call, and it doesn't go to the speakers. It connects but stays on the phone, and then it's a joke while I yell and say "Hold on!". And I have to pick up the phone and talk, which is counter productive to the whole hands off safety feature. This happened at least 3 times. I can hang up and call back and then it works. ???

Anyone experience this?

I haven't experienced anything like this. Are you running a custom rom on your phone?

No. It's an off the shelf HTC DNA from Verizon.

Well, it's not a huge deal. I chalk it up to Bluetooth, which has, in my experience, always been one of the worst technologies I ever experienced, including most Bluetooth earpieces, which typically have serious failings. The fact that it connects to the Lexus, pulls up my contacts fine and calls out on the phone is fine, so from a transmit and receive, all seems ok. But, the takeover to the audio system amplifier would fail. This simply doesn't happen with a Bluetooth earpiece. This makes me more suspicious it is the Lexus system that is the issue; not the phone.

I figure it's just another work around. I'm getting used to them.
