Default $38,000 iS250C 2015. Carbon Build up?

I read on this forum, that 2012+ motors of the 250 don't have the carbon build up issue.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...liability.html

Is that true?

Locally there is a IS250C with 18K miles. One owner, all records. Asking $38K. L Certified. Lexus records on maintenance had one complaint that AC was smelly at 15K miles, and dealer replaced both filters.

Thoughts?

Looking for Matador Red/Albaster interior, or White Exterior/Red interior. Willing to travel anywhere in the USA for the right deal.

Due to the design of the engine's fueling system, carbon build-up is always a possibility. Design updates over the years make later models less likely to experience it.
