Default Starting to modify my IS350C

I just wanted to say hello to everyone on club lexus.

It's been a short 3yrs since I got my 2010 IS350C. I've ordered from Japan on July 3, 2009 & i drove out the lot on August 11th. It's a red matador with all black leather interior with white stitching. I kept everything stock and now I want to start modifying it.

The first mod was a 35% tint all around 2 months ago. Just install the F-Sport Intake & F-Sport Exhaust 2weeks ago.

Would like to lower the suspension. Still can't decide if I want to go with F-Sport Springs & Shocks or coilovers. Any recommendations?

I will try to post the recent pictures tomorrow. Here's the first picture I took 3 yrs ago.

If you are keeping your factory wheels, just go with the fsport springs/shocks.

Will this give me a nice drop & decent ride or bumpy ride. Would like to put in some 19"s in the future, will it raise the car?

I saw your build with the coilovers, how's the ride? Any rubbing on the fenders?

Thanks

Can't wait to see what you do with it!

I have BC Coilovers since they make a model specific for the ISC, it rides great. Only rubs cuz I have it dropped low.

Do you happen to know how far off the tires need to be from the fenders before it start rubbing? And is it rubbing in the rear or front?
Do the front rubs only when you turn?

This will help me make a decisions on how low I can go.

Thanks

The front rubs the most on highway dips over 60 mph or a decent bump in the road. They'll also rub if I turn the wheel all the way to turn hard. My front sits a little higher than the back.

The back barely rubs at all and sits right on the tire. I have a 2 inch drop all around. Your tire/wheel size/offset makes a big difference with rubbing also. I run 19's.

Also, I can only get in probably half the driveways now, but it's worth it! LOL
