Hi Guys-

As what is typically the story of my life I had the good fortune to not pay attention when pulling my 4 mth old is250c into the garage and proceeded to close the garage door where it just caught the edge of the rear sensor bezel and broke it. Not the sensor, just the ring around the sensor.

I ordered a new piece from Sewell, $10.50 delivered, but I'm having a bear of a time replacing it. I can feel for the sensor under the bumper but it's just not clipping together. Is this a job that needs to be performed at the dealer or am I just doing it wrong?

isnt the parking sensor and the ring bezel 1 piece?

it's easier if you dismount your bumper. Then you can see what youre working with.

You need to unplug the wire harness connected to the sensor
Then there is a plastic piece that slides onto the back of the sensor that secures the sensor to the bumper.
Then the sensor can be pulled out from the outside.
