I'd love to get one. I want to take my bike to the beach, but it won't fit in the trunk.

There is a hitch available for the IS250C. No one seems to know if it will fit the 350.
is250/is350 sedan share the same exhaust... so im pretty positive that is250c/is350c share the same exhaust as well... it wouldnt be cost effective for lexus to have to develop 2 different exhaust systems for technically the same car.
Yeah, Lexus IS250c and IS350c have the same body, and imagine exhaust is the same. In any case if anything varies in the exhaust, it
'll most likely be the inside dimensions, but not the outside.
So ECL, do you have a link to the rack available for the IS250c??
I wrote to a couple of bicycle rack manufacturers and I am waiting on an answer.
I bought an Allen Sports bike rack, model 102DN. This is not a trailer hitch model and it is not made for the convertible IS but it works. There is a stabilizer that is supposed to rest on the bumper id the IS sedan, but on the convertible, it rests on the license plate. I put some rags between the license plate and the trunk lid so it wouldn't cause scratches. I have made several trips to San Antonio which is about 300 miles from me and not had any problems.
Here are some photos. This model has straps going to the sides for additional sideways stability, but can't be used on the ISC because of the shape of the trunk lid. I did lay them out in the photos, but they will not hold on in reality.
You can also open the trunk with the rack attached but the added weight of the rack is too much for the trunk lid gas struts to hold the lid open. Or maybe I need new gas struts?
Given that the truck opens both ways in an ISC, with this kind of weight on the trunk, will the alignment be off for the trunk, and cause problems/damage for convertible operations at times?
I have never tried to raise or lower the top while the bike rack was on, so I don't really know. Ignoring the weight issue, I would think that that with the rack being centered, no problems would happen. But that is just my thinking. To be able to go into the trunk for something is all I was trying to point out.
To me the weight is more of a concern. The rack isn't really that heavy, 7.25 lb according to my bathroom scale, but whether the motors that run the mechanism can handle that, I don't know.

right that’s what I meant . I wasn’t talking about raising or lowering too with bike
but more like rack+bike on there = having any problems with trunk alignment due to weight and pressure

Sorry, I misunderstood your question. So far I haven't had any problems with alignment. But I don't use the rack that often. I doubt if it has even been a dozen times over the past 3 years..
