Default New Ride -- 2011 IS350C

Picked this up for the wife a couple weeks ago. The car now has 212 miles. The only mod which was just completed was painting the calipers from a dark gray to black. I also had the hood, front bumper and fenders covered with a Nano Fusion Film (the latest and greatest paint protection film).

Yes, it was a very simple job. I followed the instruction in the DIY/Tutorial on the my.is forum. Here's a linK:
http://my.is/forums/f221/is350-calip...no-56k-299788/

The hardest part was making sure I lifted the front end at the right spot under the car and then placement of the jack stands in the front. Then it was a piece of cake.

Your wife is a real lucky person.

Try the F-Sport intake and exhaust. My wife is getting 30 mpg highway and a little more power with those options. She has a 2010 with 9,000 miles and just loves the way it drives. Haven't seen too many other IS 350c's around. The Matador red is the way to go, but that interior needs a lot of care to keep clean. Enjoy the vehicle.

Thanks guys! lexusmt - I'll have to keep that in mind. My wife doesn't know any better, so unless I drive it a lot more, it will probably stay as stock. She came out of a Baby Jag ('04 X-Type), so the difference in power and responsiveness is a whole lot better. I had an '07 BMW 335i (twin turbo 300hp), but I like the responsiveness on this is a little better. Of course, my memory's shot and it's hard to compare unless you do it side by side. LOL.

For those of you that have not painted your caliper's, it one mod that really looks cool!

Nice Ride!!!! I really like those. Perhaps when my 2011 IS250 lease is up a 350C will be the replacement.

What product did you use for painting the calipers?

I was never crazy about the convertible version, but yours looks very nice with the top down!! Great interior/exterior color choice.
