not to my knowledge. you would have to check with your state but, the one that Joe Z has shouldnt be illegal its just a tinge of blue. the only thing that i think would get you into trouble is if the output of the light impersonates a police car red/blue.

Though the tire will last for up to 500 miles, the intention is to allow the motorist to quickly and safely complete the repair, get back on the road, and proceed as soon as possible to an authorized tire repair facility to have the tire permanently repaired.

I might look into that. where i live there are always places to get it fixed quick. plus I have a cousin who has his own towing company so im not that worried.
