If a Lexus doesn't automatically get a last-place finish in C&D just because it's a Lexus, that's a better than expected result. 
Good to know that the IS-C is lightest in class and has the fastest 0-60 time! That's a pleasant surprise.
Of course it's all about the overall package and while the IS-C may not look to everyone's taste, I think it does have significant merits.

some a-hole in a new G37 on my commute home was driving super aggressive... so i engaged (doesn't take me much, i'm guilty
)there was a nice openening in traffic and we both were at WOOT. at speeds of like 90-100mph, my IS350 was walking, slowly, but walking.

Example: funny how they mention that the IS has a small trunk......whereby (I think edmunds stated) the IS-C is the only car in it's class that has a trunk big enough to hold a set of golf clubs
Just further proves that the car mags are biased to the BMW.
