Hose and Hard top convertibles
Is it ok to wash the top of my hardtop IS300C with a steady stream from my garden hose or will the water leak in?
I'm assuming it won't because obviously they have to keep in mind rain when constructing the car but will it affect it?

should be fine with a hose.. high pressure car washes and touchless car washes may be a problem because i know the E93 (BMW convertible) leaks. I can't speak for the 250c but a garden hose shouldnt cause any foreseeable problems.

Ok cool thanks for the info.
By steady stream i meant low pressure steady stream of water.
The reason I asked this is because when i pull up the windows sometimes there's a few droplets of water on the windows. And whenever I convert there's a small leakage of water from the trunk. Usually just convert it in my garage n get rid of the water.
