I've been trying to figure out which looks less bad (top up or down). When I saw it in person with the top up for the first time, I thought it was one of those VW hard top verts (EOS?) that might have just been in bad lighting. It looked so much smaller than my IS350.

Yeah, I think 1 pair as well. I know on the sedan you had to take out the screws in the sunglass holder. Since this doesn't have the holder, are there any other hidden screws that you know of? Or, is it just press-fit in place with clips???

Well, I'm still in break-in, so it seems a lot slower. But I'm sure that once it's broken and I throw an exhaust on it the sense of speed will be back

I would like to give major props and thanks to LexusSC430. You were one of, if not the first on this forum to purchase the IS-C, and you were definitely the first to start modding it out.

If it wasn't for you, our opinions would still probably be against the IS-C. It was your car that got everyone saying: wow, that looks much better than originally thought. Also, you have been extremely helpful in answering my questions both before and after purchase.

The intent of this thread wasn't for people to forget that.

Thanks Mike, I appreciate that. I dont really post much, but when I feel I can help someone I do open my mouth, or open my hands maybe lol. Glad I could be of some help. I really do love this car, top up or down, I think its pretty bada$$. Once I saw it in person at the dealership I just had to have it. I have also had a convertible in the past too. First time around I would drop the top if it was above 60 and crank the heat up and basically freeze. Not this time, most of the driving will be top up. Anyways, happy driving Sept is a great month for a convertible.

^^ I agree with you guys...

For a few days I was driving the IS-F and IS350 C (switiching between).

Two totally different Experiences!!!

The F is just kick *** power, yet the IS-C was just awesome cruising with the top up or top down...

But it wasn't quiet , since I was testing the exhaust & intake notes in different Rpms/Speeds..

BTW - I'm working on a functional low profile Antenna for it too...

How do you guys feel about this one??

Interesting. Might have to open a new thread about this, so it doesn't get lost in this one.

But, how good is the reception? I believe that the XM is built into the same antenna??????? Also, is it rubber like the factory one?

Will get a thread going as soon as were done with a few more things...

Reception seems good so far with local radio stations, but I am sure it can vary in different areas.

I believe the antenna above the windshield is for the Nav & XM..

This antenna is 5", made of aluminum & anodized black...
