Default When the coupe/convertible comes out...

...who's going to upgrade?

And let's assume that the coupe will most likely be about $2k over the price of a comparably-loaded sedan, and the convertible will be about $7k over the price of the comparably-loaded sedan.

DISCUSS.

I'd rather get the loaded Sedan than a half loaded Coupe or Convertable. I dont know about you guys, but I love my toys.

I would like 2 doors vs. 4 doors because in IMO it looks better on a sporty car. Don't get me wrong, I love my current 08 IS250 and plan to keep it for several years, but when I wanna get a new one in the years to come (plus if I don't have any kids by then), I'll probably be interested in the 2 door w/ all the same upgrades I have now.

i love my awd IS now....but if a coupe came out i would probably jump on it next year. the only other car i would look at getting right now would be an 04-06 M3....but then again i don't want a used beet on M3.

pics of the coupe and the stance of it, and hopefully they tweak the motor, wishing for maybe 350hp out of it.......and put some 6 pot calipers on it.

that would have me sold on the car.

After some thought, I would rather pay a little extra for a convertible option instead of the Lux package.

But I definitely need my ML system...

i would trade in my 350 for a coupe that is also a convertible. most likely get a 250 version tho or a least one with awd, driving in ice with RWD is a disaster. anyone no when they are comeing out, i heard that lexus is deputing them at the next detriot auto show. and how much they would cost?

If it is executed well enough and looks good, I will probably upgrade. If there isn't much change from the sedan to coupe then I would highly consider it. If it changes like the 3-series sedan and coupe, then the design has to look really good for me to consider it. Also, if it's a hardtop convertible, then that would sway my decision more towards it.

I'm keeping/driving the sedan until the wheels fall off Especially in this shaky economy...

sedan all the way, i love coupes, but this car looks sooo mean and sleek as a 4 door. im sure the coupe will look good also, but id rather have a 3series coupe.

Depends how the car looks as a coupe, obviously.

But right now Im too poor to afford an upgrade, so sticking with the sedan it is.

I bet the ISx50 coupe is going to look very nice, but I have kids so no 2-doors for me...
