Default Dash looks faded with small scratch

My friend pick up a new is350 f sport not too long ago. When he went home, he found out that the dashboard was a bit gray in color (not black) and there was multiple small scratches and marks on the dashboard. Can the dealers do anything about this? He just bought it a couple of hours ago. Would they replace the dash or do a touch up?

Thanks

Is it brand spanking new? Its unacceptable if it is. My pre owned certified still have that nice gloss black dash still. Sometimes when the light hits the dash its a bit greyish but definitely address that to the dealership.

I bought my '14 F Sport with faded scratches on the passenger dash too. It's the leather that's scratched. Won't come off with a few things I've tried. Doesn't bother me unless it's in the light

I think there was a thread about the same issue. Many noticed a gray area near the vents on the dashboard. However the scratches seems to be due to the previous owner if its a CPO or the dealership if its new. If its new I would call the dealership and let them change the scratched parts.

Be careful not to use harsh chemicals (from experience). To restore the finish, I used a light amount of an old bottle of Black Chrome with success.

See here for more info: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...heir-dash.html

Good luck.
