Thumbs down What happened to the 2017 F-Sport Headlights?

Dealer talked me into turning my '14 IS350 in 2 months early for a fully loaded + Mark L '17 IS350 for zero down and same payment.

But I'm looking at the images online and the spec sheet they sent over and It looks like they scrapped the new headlights? When the 2017's got announced the promo images even the "reveal" blacked out image had the new headlights and now I can't find a single model with them.

What gives?

Been discussed before. Those headlights is for EURO spec IS.

IMO, the pre refresh headlights looked way better.

Interesting, idk I kinda like the Euro ones then. Right now I have the dual LED ones, and moving to the single LED seems like a downgrade in the looks department.

These lights are not just Euro spec. They're on the IS models in Asia also. The single projector does look weird and doesn't compare to the dual projectors. Dual looks better.

Unfortunately, the US models get shafted in options that the foreign models have.

Then again.. Aren't EURO and ASIA spec Lexus cost more than the U.S. Think I heard an IS is like 60kish over there. It would make sense to include some extra extra yaknow

You guys think it would be a easy swap from factory to factory parts? The IS350 I just ordered for new lease is going to be pretty rare in US. White / Red, IS350 with every package you can get including Mark L sound. I think the Euro / Asia lights would look good.

They can be replaced easily, but they cost 2x the normal ones. I'm not sure why lexus didn't include it, but it could be due to US regulations.

It would look good and subtle and unique.

If you can source the headlights, you can definitely figure out a way to make them work if it is not plug and play. Make sure you get them from a LHD country so you beam pattern is correct. If I had a '17, I'd definitely consider it even if it cost $2,500-ish. You can keep your stock lights when you sell the car and get most your money back or sell your stock lights to recoup a huge chunk of the cost.

Hopefully, someone in a LHD country can look into part numbers/diagrams and cost for those of you thinking about it.... It's sort of wrong that the F Sport NX and RXs have cooler headlights.

Has anyone had any luck in getting these headlights imported to NA? I think those headlights look a lot better than the stock ones we have here in NA.
