Just curious, anyone ever have a car repossessed that was leased or financed Toyota motor credit? Issues releasing or financing with company in future?

Not with TMC. Mine was GM finance, I think. All I can tell you is that your credit will be in bad shape for 8 years. You can try to do a charge off with them on the balance to make it less painful.

he might have had a repo with tmc prior but is now able to afford a 3is. i'm just giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Had a prior charge off with a totaled car long story. Sick of my current payment have 2.5 years left on lease, weighing out my options. Life happens.

cut him some slack. he had the ***** to come on a public forum and ask for advice on a personal matter. he did what he did. don't see how that helps him.
If i were you, i'd try to ride the 2.5 years out and make the payments. try cutting back in other areas.
