Default Blind Spot Monitoring

Blind spot monitoring system wasn't working for a while now. On dashboard it says "Check BSM", so I took it to dealer today. They asked $880 to fix it.
I am a BMW user and this is my wife's car. So I really do not know much thing about Lexus.

My question is; isn't it still under 4 year warranty ? It is 2014 model IS 250.

If lexus basic warranty doesn't even cover this, what does it cover ?

It covers this. Tell them to fix it using warranty. You should coverage this year

Call corporate and open a case with them. Should definitely be under warranty.
