Just had 10k service done....
After the initial 10k oil Change, are oil changes every 5k miles? I was also told I had 40% front brakes left and need to replace them at about 15k and this is normal for my car. I have a 2016 is200t.

everyone's driving style is different. what's normal for you may not be normal for someone else. it's due when it's due.

Oil change is every 10k, every 5k interval is just checkup (basically "look" at the car).
I never heard of a car with 10k miles needing to replace brakes so soon... Are you sure they aint just effing with you? lol. I would get a second opinion on the brakes, even for a "performance orient" car it shouldn't be needed to change so soon.
Unless... you brake way too often, or track the car.

^ If OP is in the same situation as you, then it would make sense.
I also got a is350f, but I am mostly HWY drive 80-90%.
12k odo, brakes still pretty fresh, tires as well.

2016 200t Fsport and replaced brakes at just over 13k miles. Service rep said they were at 2%. Heard grinding noises and thought it was going to be a warranty issue. Service rep said he's seen someone come in with 7k needing new pads. Says the Fsport brakes wear quicker than the regular brakes.
Guess my 1.5 hr one way daily commute in LA traffic takes its toll on the brakes.

Pads may be soft, but stop the shortest. This kept me out an accident when an idiot decided to change lanes while his lane was stopped and mine was going 45mph. After an awful screeching halt, I was inches away from the idiot. Glad I had the dusty pads that time!

If your're leasing you have to so every service 5K, 10k, 15k, and so on. Or else they will ding you when you return the car. If anything goes "wrong"
If you purchased, it's good to do all service since it goes on the car fax and your car will have a higher resell rate.

You can get your tires rotated for free or a small fee ($20) at most tire shops. Just reset the maintenance light after they rotate it.
