Default Gas Consumption

Hi all,

I've had a 2016 300 F Sport since October. Only put 4,800 km on it so far. I mostly do city driving and sometimes highways.

Fuel Consumption is 14.2L/100km
A full tank gets me about 440km

Is this normal for everyone else in similar driving conditions?

Thanks

That's about 16.5 mpg which is a bit low but not unheard of, especially with city driving. 440 kilometers is about 275 miles so that also sounds about right, at least from my experience with the IS350 I had.

Thanks JDR76

I'm hoping with more driving and putting some more highway miles on it, the consumption gets better.

I have noticed that my MPG has gone down significantly since the temperature has declined. Wait until the weather warms and I am guessing you will get better gas mileage.

I have a 16 IS300 and also put about 5k on the car. I was averaging 500km a tank (when light pops up) until winter hit and went down to about 440km.

I have a 350 with 12k odo, and I make 23-24 MPG combined with 80-90% HWY. Full tank is roughly 365 miles.

Driving in ECO mode as well.

Man, if I could make myself drive in Eco Mode all the time, I would... But Sport mode is more fun.

I have been getting between 17 and 19 MPG here in Kansas City during the winter months, mostly city driving. With basically every car I have owned, MPG is 2-3 lower during winter. I am guessing I'll get 20 or so in warmer weather.

Sounds about right for typical Canadian winters in city driving. You should see improvements when temperatures warm up.

My 16 350F is very consistently getting 21 to 22 mpg with I'd call it 75% city or so running on 93 Shell Vpower. The mpg in the car is always reading 19 to 19.5 but I use the mileagekeeper app which figures it via miles vs fuel added with each fill up...way more accurate calculation.

My 16 350 has been between 16-18mpg consistently. Coming up on a year now with it I drive 75% city 25% highway though so I'm not really surprised. I doubt eco mode would make any difference with city driving.
