Today I was installing the OEM fog lamp kit from Nigel-JDMParts. I start with the installation of the lamps itself and then notice that there was a connector available on each side that plugs perfectly on the lamps, so I plugged them, then went inside of the car and before removing the steering wheel I start first removing the plastic garnish from the top and down of the steering column, for my surprise there was wiring on the pins 10 and 11 of the K23 conector, so I decided to try the new stalk immediately......... and then 😁😁😁😁 fog lamps start working perfectly, even the dash light for them works. 👍🏻👌🏻💪🏻

Don't they all come prewired?

don't know, because I was reading a DIY fog lamp install here and they use an aftermarket harness for it.

Good job! I have to say though ,that this DIY looks beyond my abilities 😳. Seeing the steering wheel removed tells me that I will be calling my indie to do the install for me. Hopefully the harness is present in my '14 is350 also. Does anyone know definitively if it would be?

Consider yourself lucky!! That's pretty sweet. My 14 was certainly was not wired and ended up using a aftermarket switch, which still looks pretty good.

more than likely it won't be wired. The majority of owners on here don't have any pre wired capabilities. Any ones that do seem to be an exception

Mine came prewired, just need the stalk to enable them.

Do Canadian spec cars come prewired and US don't?

I stand corrected. I thought only Asian and Euro cars had fogs prewired

Let me know if you figure this out! I also have a '14 IS350 and this is going to be the next thing I do to my car after I change the interior lights to LEDs.
