Default Anyone have weak starting/turnover on brand new car?

I know there were some documented problems with batteries with the 2014 model, but I just got a 2017 a month ago and it has 1,000 miles and on cold starts in the morning and after work it's very slow and weak to turn over and start up. Almost sounds like it's going to stall out then grabs itself and comes back to life. I came from a 2015 IS250 that was a beast on every start up for 25,000 miles, no issues. This 2017 IS350 doesn't start with the same quickness my IS250 did. Hard to believe a problem already on a motor that's over 10 years old now. Could a battery already be faulty this soon?

So far it has started every time I've asked it to, but at least once a day it struggles to turn over. Trying to nip problem in but before car has too many miles and dealership can blame it on leaving a light on or something like that.

I would just have the dealer take a look. It shouldn't be so slow to turn over. Could be a defective battery.

Bad injectors?

If you're not electrically handy, take it to dealer.

I had this problem on my 2015 is250.. didn't drive my car much for the first year. 9 months in with okay 4K on it I started experiencing the same thing. Brought it to dealer and they didn't come back with anything. I've had the car for 16 months now and have 9k on it and the problem just went away on its own..

Took car to dealer this morning. No codes thrown, battery and charging system checked within speck. Went to leave house tonight, pushed start button, car almost sounded like it was about to stall when trying to start then it woke up after half a second and started and ran fine.

problem is so random. Can't figure it out. Maybe once a day, then sometimes it won't happen for a day or so. Car seems like it starts different every time I start it.

could it be user error with my brake pedal and pushing button,

hard to imagine a car with 1,500 miles almost stalls out before cranking up fully a few days a week only.

A long shot... but have you replaced the battery in your key fob? I had the battery drain issue and went through all that crap and had the ECU replaced. After it was replaced the car started to randomly not turn over. I would have to hit the start button for a second time and it would fire right up. This went on for a few months and then they changed my battery during my 30K service and it has never happened since. SO the fob battery fixed my issue.

not sure how the key fob battery affects the start up?

car has never failed to start, but once a day it starts very rough. My wife's corollary start up the same way every time. My is250 started the same way every time.

this new is350 only has 1,500 miles and has a few wonky start ups a week.

maybe I can try the other key fob tomorrow......
