Went grocery shopping and found this on my car. I believe it was from a shopping cart. I have removed the paint left by the shopping cart already, but still left behind this.

Clearly it's due to a fight between an alien xenomorph and predator. Looks like the predator won again. But did you check under the seats for any face huggers?

I think you need to take it to a shop and see what they say.

My guess is not gonna be under $50, I might as well wait for my whole bumper to fall apart and get the whole bumper replaced

Welcome to the forum though wish it were under better circumstances for you!

A reputable bodyshop can fill the gap/sand it down, then blend paint just the affected section of your bumper. In terms of cost which can vary depending on location, I'd expect this to be in the $200-250 range from 3-4 hrs labor and minor use of supplies (paint, body filler, tape, etc)

Good luck.

Unless you are talented, it's going to look DIY.

$20 for bindo, $10 for the paint, $10 for the sandpaper.

Got to remember that this is a $50k car, not a $10k Yaris. You need to keep it up, properly, unless skilled otherwise. I know it sucks, but you'll be spending a few hundred to get this fixed. In the end, you won't be able to tell the difference once a pro gets it done.

Maybe because they were when new? Mine was over that with tax, tag, and title. When you spend that much money, you tend to take better care of it.
