Default Inputs on IS350 F-Sport Pricing

Hi all,

I've read other threads about the 250/350 and also posted in the "price paid on xxx..." thread, but that thread isn't as active.
Below were two quotes I received from two separate dealers in SoCal and would like some inputs on them.
These are final prices as I tried to squeeze it down as much as possible.

Anything I should be cautious about?
I've read that carbon build-up problems were resolved on the later models.

Carbon build up does not apply for the 350.

To be honest, the prices are not as attractive. Knowing that these cars are 2-3 years old already. If you could extend your budget, you could probably get a brand new 2016 loaded for ~40-45k otd.

*discount depends on dealers. For certain, they are practically giving away 2016's models. In my dealership, 2016 RCF's are marked down 13k from MSRP. They don't sell as well, but you get the idea.

Thanks for the input!
I'll take a look at new 2016s and see if there are any in the area.
If not, I'll probably go for the 250.

May I ask which dealership you are at?

Dont go for the 250. It's much slower. Every other IS I see is a 250 and they all try to speed up to me and pass. It takes very little to prevent them, and they all have this surprise look on them.

Its not just being able to get to 100mph fast, it's being able to over take a slow poke or semi fast. So you don't want to accidentally drift up to 90? Use cruise control. There is never too much hp.

It's in norcal. Redwood City Lexus.

We still have 2016 is200t, no more 350s. Honestly, I haven't seen a new 2016 or 2017 is350 yet. Not a lot of ppl buy them..

I'm not in sales, but if you are in the area, I can introduce you to the sales manager. He's a nice guy and will take care of you.

P.S- don't get the 250 loool

Ahh I see.

There are some new 2016 350s down here. I see one listed at $49,000 MSRP.
How low do you think they'll go on it?

Not sure. But for reference, I got my IS350, MSRP @ 49,500 for 47,500 OTD back in Jan. 2016. Little bit more than $6000 discount.

Discount depends on dealers so I don't know how much they are willing to budge for it.

I am looking to get out of my 2016 IS350 F-Sport. It is leased, and has about 8,700 miles. There are approximately 25 months left on the lease. Car is in like new condition. Ultra White with Rioja Red interior, Mark Levinson sound, Nav, Blind Spot Monitoring, and adaptive cruise control - the only option missing is the variable gear ratio steering. I've been looking for someone to take over the lease @ $460/month, and I'm offering a $500 incentive that brings the monthly payments down to about $440. I currently have the car listed on SwapALease, here.

However, the buyout price of the car right now is $41,234.26. I'd be willing to offer the same incentive for a buyout, which would bring the price of the car down to $40.7k. If you're able to secure your own loan through a credit union, payments should be approximately $575-580 on a 72 month loan.

I'm in norcal, and got the car from Putnam Lexus in Redwood City.

If you're interested, and depending on how serious you are, and how quickly you're looking to move, I might be a bit flexible on the incentive.

I had the choice between the 250 and 350 F Sport and went with the 250. A lot of ppl will say go with the 350, which is a superb car, but the 250 is plenty enough IMO. It's all about expectation and usage. For a daily driver I don't see needing the added HP, at least not for the price difference.

FWIW - I sold my M3 with pipes, exhaust, brembos and software etc. and don't regret a thing!

I got my IS 350 well discounted and get extra enjoyment from the extra torque and HP on almost every single drive. Not disagreeing with you, I'm just sayin', I would've massively regretted getting a 250 over a 350. Just my opinion. The difference in price is a small percentage of an already expensive car. I've received many compliments on the 350's performance from my passengers, too.

Happy Holidays!

Thanks for the input guys.
I will be test driving the 250 to see if it fits my needs, but I do love the power of the 350 though .

kyuongjook, thanks for the offer but I'm not interested. Good luck with the lease swap/sale.
