Talking INSTALLED: F-Sport Forged 19 w/ Swift Springs

Hey Everyone,

Just ordered the factory F-Sport Forged 19s that are 19x8 et 40 front and 19x9 et 40 rear.

My wheels just got delivered and I'm doing my best to decide what rear tires to use.
It appears that everyone agrees 225/35/19 Michelin Pilot Super Sport will work without problems or rubbing, but the rear appears to be more difficult.

The factory recommends running 255/35/19 rear, but my search through the threads here suggests a 255/30/19 would be ideal.
**My concern, aside from rubbing, is that I have the wheel/tire warranty from the factory and I want to make sure my tires stay covered.

Is anyone lowered on RSR Down Springs or Swift Springs running a 255/35/19 in the rear without issues?

Thanks for the help,

Mike

i'm on rsr downs F:19x9+35 225/35/19 R: 19x10+45 255/30/19.

i agree with you that 225/35 is ok for the fronts, however, if i ran 255/35 for the rears, i would rub for sure.
if you were rolling at stock height, 255/35 would probably be fine

are you going to get a 10mm spacer for the fronts?

That's the plan, but I really don't want to have to use spaces that require pushing in new extended studs.

yeah, those are a little thicker, but i intended to show the design. the spacers with built in studs are safer than the ones that replace your OEM studs with extended ones

Thanks...I definitely agree, but didn't know they made 10mm spacers with built in studs.

I have two sets of 20mm spacers like those, but 20mm made the front wheels stick out further than the rears (Does et40 offset + 20mm spacers = et20 offset?)

yep, that's how to calculate effective offsets. 19x8+20 would be too aggressive.

Nice choice! The wheels remind me of BMW M3/M4 competition package rims, but an improved version.
