Been busy so haven't been able to take a picture of it with the phone. Here's how the mount looks in the car cd slot and some close ups.

all the phone mount pics posted in this thread require the driver to completely take their eyes off the road to look down at their shifter. wtf is the point of that? hey great, you got a fancy mount bolted to the floor that requires you to look straight down! congratulations!

get this instead, can also use it to block out the dated analog clock

Honestly, no matter where you put it, your eyes are going to be off the road if you're looking at your phone screen. Lol. Unless one eye stays looking at the road and the other one can be directed at the phone screen. I got a phone mount cause I couldn't stand just leaving it lying between the sport+ ****/mouse and not being able to put it in the cup holder.

this is my first Lexus, do they only have analog clocks? I noticed the time doesn't display on the nav either

I am a watch buff. I think the analog clock is so cool. No one buys a digital Rolex. High end watches are analog. High end cars should be the same.

As compared to many cars, it is. As compared to a Lambo, I guess not.

the mount is designed for your specific dashboard. the holder is designed for your specific phone, or you can get an adjustable holder, in which case you can keep your phone in its case

I picked up the non-magnetic version of this Koomus brand cd holder. Like the design so far.

How do you charge yourself phones and have the center console closed? I have my car charger plugged in in the center console but cannot close the lid cause while the charging cord is sticking out to charge my phone while it's sitting in the holder.

There's a gap on the left and right side that the cord can go through while it's closed

How is it going over bumps/turning?

I got the same one....works well. Every once it awhile it needs a little adjustment, but other than that, I'm please overall. I have a Galaxy S7 that mounts to it.
