I was reading about these on the T4R.org Forum for 4Runners. This increases the throttle response and makes quite a difference in the laggy throttle for the 4Runner. Essentially it sounds like a smaller press of the pedal is amplified. I haven't felt the need for this in the IS 350, but would like to know if anyone has tried it. I didn't know something like this existed until today.

Sport Mode does pretty much the same...

This may work efficiently with the cars the don't have anything similar to the sport mode.

I just got Apexi throttle controller recently. It kills the lag instantly when you are in red mode (aka high throttle mode). If you love Sport+ mode, you will definitely love this one too. See more details in my build thread.

Completely agree with the post above about the Apexi throttle controller killing the lag on the throttle response in the IS350. S+ mode is a completely different animal now while running the red selection on the controller. The Apexi controller is well documented on this forum in the ISF and RCF being a must have for these two models.

I personally would not own another Lexus without using the Apexi throttle controller. This product will not add HP to your Car or magically save gas. It simply helps you from having to press the gas pedal all the way to the floor while in reality you are getting that same effect at half throttle input.

I let couple of 4 gen GS and 3 gen IS350 owners test drove mine car with the throttle controller on red mode. They both said it's totally different and really enjoyed it.

Is there any test videos/threads using a throttle controller with the different modes built into the car? (ECO, NORMAL, SPORT, SPORT+)

Not sure what you would be looking for in a video for this Mod, This is one of those upgrades that you have to drive and feel to notice the difference.
